Where this route actually goes.

Each stop earns its nights. The quiz decides how long you stay in each, and whether a stop drops off entirely because it is not you.

Picks that sit on this route.

From the Philippines file. Real places, filed by people who went, not scraped from a Top 10 list.

Do · Panay · Boracay

Puka Beach

Boracay's northern tip, free entry, none of White Beach's crowding. A tricycle from the main strip runs about PHP 150, or PHP 20 a person shared, roughly 20 minutes.

Do · Panay · Boracay

Paraw sunset sailing

A traditional double outrigger sailboat, from PHP 3,700 for a private charter, which means a solo traveller gets the whole boat rather than sharing one. A 30 minute sunset sail timed to golden hour, or a 1 hour daytime option.

Do · Panay · Boracay

Ariel's Point cliff diving

Five diving platforms from 3 to 15 metres, reached by boat transfer from White Beach. Day packages from PHP 1,200 to 1,500 include the transfer, a BBQ buffet lunch and unlimited jumps, kayaking and snorkelling.

Eat · Western Visayas · Iloilo

La Paz batchoy

Pork and offal noodle soup: round miki egg noodles in a broth boiled for hours, with shrimp stock, beef loin, pork innards, crushed chicharon and toasted garlic on top. Three houses in the same market claim the original, Deco's, Ted's and Netong's, and all three have been trading since the 1940s.

Eat · Panay · Boracay

D'Talipapa

A wet market off Boracay's main road where you buy fresh shrimp, crab, squid or lobster at market price, then pay a nearby paluto restaurant from about PHP 100 a kilo to cook it however you want. Controlling the exact portion makes it one of the more solo-friendly ways to eat well on the island.

Eat · Panay · Boracay

Andok's

A budget Filipino fast food chain known for charcoal roasted, lemongrass stuffed whole chicken, PHP 150 to 200. Fast counter service, the kind of grab-and-go meal that fits between beach hops.

¶ 03 · How it becomes yours

The route is the spine. You are the trip.

Five short questions, about three minutes. The plan starts from this route and a library of Philippines trips we have tested, then reshapes the nights, the food and the days to your pace and budget.

No sponsored stops, no filler days. If a place stays on your plan, it earned the spot.
